Speaker: Janice Broome
Introduce yourself and describe how LetsLose, Advanced Weight Loss has helped you?
Janice Broome: I have been with LetsLose weight loss program Since 2019. I have lost 120 pounds I have absolutely been a changed person. Casey at the front office at the McCalla LetsLose is absolutely phenomenal. The nurses have been very encouraging and very supportive. I have worked very hard and when I got discouraged they were there to help. I absolutely was seen through tragedy. My husband passed away, they saw me through that. They listened to stories, they listen to my funny stories. They listen my happy stories. The last time I came in, well, actually it's today to get an injection. But last week I came in to see the doctor and they said that I was too skinny. Imagine that. I've never been told that. So my, my weight loss journey is still going on. it has been absolutely a lifestyle change.
Which have you found to be more helpful, the support or the products?
Janice Broome: I have found the support to be phenomenal as well as the products. I love the lipo that you take, you put under your tongue every morning. And then I love the 4 in 1 (injection) that has been the best one for me.
What would you tell someone who is thinking about joining our program?
Janice Broome: I would tell someone that weight loss is not a diet. It is actually a lifestyle change. And when I decided to start coming to LetsLose, it was a big decision. But you were gonna have these plateaus and you're gonna have, these days you don't want to drink water. And these are things that are important water and watching what you put in your mouth and counting, calories, protein, making sure that your body is getting what it needs when it needs it, not what it wants. And when you hit a plateau, I hit a plateau for two years. It took me two years to come off of a plateau and the whole time don't give up. Keep doing what you're doing. You'll come off of it and when you do it's absolutely gonna make up for the time that you feel stuck, you're not gaining, but you're not losing and don't give up because you will gain. So my advice is to keep on keeping on and don't make it a diet, make it a lifestyle change. Your workouts, your walking don't park so close to a place when you're going into a store park as, you know, far away, maybe not at night but, different things you can do and absolutely your water intake. That is very, very important.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
Janice Broome: I just like to say that weight loss being a lifestyle change, you literally have to have a support program and support at home. People that say, oh, you'll gain it back. Don't listen to them. You know yourself, you're working hard. Don't listen to the people that want to say you're gonna gain it back. I get that all the time and I got news for you. I am not. And the minute I start gaining a couple of pounds, I work very hard to get it right back off because I am absolutely happy with my weight loss. It's hard to keep it off. It's hard to get it off, but you can do it. And I'm just gonna say lots of praying the weight loss program at LetsLose It's just been phenomenal for me and I enjoy coming because everybody's so happy and upbeat. I wish I could work for them, but I'm ready to retire anyway. So my suggestion is don't give up, don't listen to negativity surround yourself with positives.
