What is one important personal reflection or lesson from 2025 that you want to share with other community pros?

Rosie Sherry: Hello, I'm Rosie Sherry from Ministry of Testing and Rosieland. And one important reflection from me this year has been us doubling down on building our own platform. And as a result, I've been totally transformed in how I think about community data and how useful that has been for us to build our own platform. It's given me the realization that the social networks and other platforms, there's so much power in the data that we could be more creative with and that we never really have access to. So, 2025 has been me exploring that, realizing that, and then for the future, I'm pretty excited about how we can innovate in community as a result of using community data.

What is your take on what is next for us as community professionals in 2026?

Rosie Sherry: My take on community professionals in 2026 is change. We have to change. We have to change what we talk about, we have to change how we think about community. We have to change what we think is possible. We have to change how we think about technology and AI, and how we achieve community, what community is, change, change, change. And I guess partly this is a personal take, because we've been, or we, you know, we've been heads down at Ministry of Testing, just doing things differently and building our own platform. And it's really opened my eyes to how much more we could do to build better communities. And I I just can't do community like I've done it in the past anymore. Everything's changed for me. So, maybe others will start to see that and maybe see what we're up to. But yeah, it's pretty, pretty exciting. And I guess if we don't change, we're in trouble as an industry. No profession stays the same. And I just think it's essential for us as professionals to accept change, go with the change, and also get excited about it. I'm super, super excited. Thank you!
