Rakesh Verma : Hi. First of all, uh I feel proud to be part of Group manager program. My name is Rakesh Verma and I'm leading supply chain for India region. My topic mainly covers uh empowering the team and stress to flow. So basically, this incident happened to one of my newly uh team member who joined recently in my team. So he asked some help from the IT section, but he didn't get the first go. So he complained me but I intentionally did not jump in at the very first go. I asked him to, you know, discuss more, go to his table, explain the situation and explain the impact if this problem is not get solved. So the person uh discuss more closely with the other other department. And uh finally, the problem gets solved uh by himself, by he himself, right? So then I gave him the feedback that I did it intentionally so that you can push your boundaries and uh get out of your comfort zone. And he really felt proud and I also felt proud and uh I think this is very good lesson learned. My advice to the larger community of the manager is is uh we should empower our team because the team performance and uh team strength is your strength and the company's strength. Ok. So this is the point I would like to highlight. Thank you and all the best for the we have two.

What concept of the manager program was useful to you and what action did you take as a result of the training?

Rakesh Verma : Well, I think all topics are very relevant. So it's not only one topic because all the topics are in way whether they are used interchangeably because you have to use the adaptive style also uh based on the disc profile, you have to know the disc profile and then finally uh driving the team performance. So all topics are relevant, but I really emphasize on team performance, that's important.

If you had to share one piece of advice with another Socomec manager, what would it be?

Rakesh Verma : Well, I already highlighted that we should empower our team and we should develop the individuals so that you get more time to focus on higher task. So I think uh this is the advice I would like to give uh to the entire managerial community all the best. Thank you very much.
