Please introduce yourself and tell us what inspired you to join Learn&Co. What were your goals or dreams when you started?
Jordina Mah: Hello, I'm Georgina, and I started my journey with Len and Co in September. This was in preparation for a trip to Italy. I've been to Italy several times in the past on holiday with my family and to attend a work conference. This time I was visiting friends and doing solo travel, so I was determined to attain a conversational level of Italian in a very short period of time. Um, my goal is to be fluent and eventually eloquent in Italian. Um, I'm a big fan of Italian films, my favorite being Chianora Domani. Um, that's still tomorrow. And I love Italian food, so it's only natural that I, um, that this sparked my interest in learning the language. I chose Lear and cope because I lived near Fulham at the time, and I got in touch with Maria, who was very enthusiastic about helping me reach my goals.
Which language course or trip did you experience with us, and how has it impacted your life so far?
Jordina Mah: So I was paired up with Alessandra. And she is such a kind and compassionate teacher. She's made learning Italians such a joyous experience. Um, I admit it's been challenging at times trying to juggle, um, really intensive lessons, uh, with work, but I am so glad to have signed up for this. I went from 0 Italian. And finding it so daunting, navigating Italy in the past to now feeling comfortable enough to order in restaurants and asking for directions on my own, and especially proud moment was when I was in Venice, um, and the waiter complimented me on my Italian. Um, and so that made me feel very proud.

What did you love most about learning with Learn&Co? Was there a standout moment?
Jordina Mah: I believe that Len and Co is committed to ensuring that the students get very high quality teaching and I understand that the teachers undergo rigorous checks. Um, we also get quite frequent, uh, progress reports and check-ins with Maria to ensure that we are progressing well and that Um, we feel supported, which is really great.
What would you say to someone considering joining Learn&Co?”
Jordina Mah: I signed up for a very intensive lesson plan as I had the trip coming up very soon and I really needed to immerse myself in Italian. However, that was for a specific purpose and my advice would be for potential students to really take into account what is feasible in the long term and sustainable with your work schedule. The beauty of Learning Code is that Maria curates a learning package for you based on your needs and pairs you up with a suitable teacher. Which has been. An amazing experience, so I would highly recommend it.
