Speaker: Stacy Williams
What are you most excited about this holiday?
Stacy Williams: What excites me most about this upcoming holiday season is that I have an opportunity to celebrate it with not only my children and my parents, but as well as some of my children's significant others that will soon be joining our family. So, my daughter's fiancé, Vince, will be joining us and my niece's fiancé, Hogan, will be joining us well on Christmas morning. So I really can't think of anything more special than that. And as I look into the future and realize they too, have created their own lives and maybe moving away from us here in Cincinnati, Ohio, I recognize and cherish now even more than ever, the time that we have to spend together as a family. So I am very excited for that opportunity.
What is one Christmas movie you always have to watch, and why?
Stacy Williams: Let's see. My most favorite Christmas movie is The Grinch and not the original one. Gosh, I think that was back in the 1960s. This would be the one that was released. I think in 2018 and I think it was Pharrell Williams that actually does the narrating. It's the animated Grinch. the scenes that absolutely just make me laugh out loud. Right. Fred the Reindeer, Brinkle Bob. the friendly neighbor as well and I can't leave this out the screaming goat. Anytime I see this Christmas movie, I laugh out loud. I've already watched it twice. and made my kids watch it just because there are many days I just need a good laugh around the holidays and believe me, this one delivers.
As you reflect on the past year at LaCalle Group, what makes you most proud?
Stacy Williams: So what makes me most proud working here at LaCalle Group. This really isn't a difficult one to answer. And I hope it doesn't sound cheesy, but it's really having the honor and privilege of working alongside all of you. When I first came to work at LaCalle Group, my gosh, now, over 15 years ago, both Bill and Aimee, you know, told me at that time and I think there are only about 15 of us that they only hired A players, and at that time, I really didn't quite understand what that meant. And so when I came to work for the company it became very clear, very quickly. Um the level of achievement that, that my peers and everyone I was working with was so incredible that I realized very quickly that I had a lot not only to learn, but hopefully to be able to contribute in the process just to keep up with the amazing work that was getting accomplished all around me. It was to the point when I started with this company, I wouldn't even take a bathroom break. let alone eat just because I thought I, I have got to be here at all times because the pace was incredible. and just the connections you know that you have with people. I pray that is not the case today with anybody. I do find the time to take bathroom breaks as well as eat my lunch as well as sometimes even go out and hit the tennis ball or take a walk, much better work–life balance. But still just being around that amount of brain power every day and watching what we accomplish continues to amaze me. We accomplish more in this company in a year than in my previous job, what we were able to accomplish in a decade. Really if you think about it, it just, all the accomplishments is just incredible. Our conversion rates our entry into new markets. how close, you know, we came to hitting revenue and I'm still not giving up on that. We are so, so close. Athena and everything that we've accomplished as well as all of the other projects. It truly truly is quite, quite an accomplishment to work with such such great people. So all I can say is I recognize the amount of effort and dedication it takes to do all of that and get all that accomplished in a given year. So hopefully each and every one of you can find time to spend time with your families um and just truly enjoy the special moments that this holiday brings happy holidays to everybody and I know I just can't say it enough. Thank you. Thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for this company each and every day. Happy holidays.
