Speaker: Harold G Wentz, Dynasty Laundry Center I
Why did you choose to attend the Laundromat Millionaire Pick-Up & Delivery Workshop?
Harold G Wentz: Hey, David Carla, this is Harold, Uncle Smokey from Atomic Hogs BBQ just giving you a shout out letting you know how much we really enjoyed that. workshop, it was the best workshop I've attended in over 25 years. And not just that, it's probably the most important one that I've ever attended. The reason why it's the most important is because what you have created and is going to give me a chance to create generational wealth for my family. As I indicated, I'm 70 years old and I'm looking to build a laundromat empire with my son. What you have put together is going to be really helpful and in me accomplishing that goal. I'm a retired system engineer and systems programmer in database technology. And as a consequence, I've served in management at various levels. So I'm familiar with project implementation, and what you guys have put together is nothing short of phenomenal. What did I come away with? I came away with four things from that workshop: 1) Systems (your systems were incredible!), 2) Production, 3) Logistics, and 4) Profit Sharing. I think that you guys have put together both strategic and tactical systems that will make an individual who wants to own the laundromat profitable within months, not years. And so that's extremely important because of the capital investment that's being made. In terms of production, to me, this was the secret sauce as Jordan Berry would say. One of the things that I was looking to come away with was optimization. How do you optimize a third shift where it's efficient and watching your crew was just fantastic. It gives me a mechanism by which I can create a fully optimized environment for third shift production Logistics, your route logistics are phenomenal. You know, just watching the way you've created your maps, the way you coordinate your drivers. It gives you an opportunity to save both time and money. And then I think lastly was the profit sharing. I think that what Carla put together, to me, that was a bonus! that is going to give me the mechanism by which I can retain staff. And that's extremely important because one of the biggest expenses one could have is is not retaining people and having to retrain people over and over and over again. So, guys, it was fantastic. I really appreciated it.
What about the Workshop did you find most valuable?
Harold G Wentz: Hey, David Carla, it's Harold S A K, Uncle Smokey here. Um Providing you with uh my recording just to let you know how much uh my son and I really enjoyed the workshop as I indicated to you in my email. Dave, it was the best workshop I've attended in over 25 years. And not just that and not only was it the best workshop I think it was perhaps the most important that I've ever uh participated in. Why? Uh because you taught me how to build generational wealth for my family and that's no small thing. Uh I look at that very seriously. Um I have Children and grandchildren and I wanna be able to create a platform uh by which they can um sustain themselves without having to work a 9 to 5 or work for someone else. Uh What makes me qualified to say this? Well, um as I indicated uh when I met you, I'm a retired systems uh programmer, software engineer, um database administrator. And I provided uh uh lead, I was, I've served as the lead for various projects extended over the years. So I'm familiar with um system methodologies and um both from a strategic and tactical standpoint. What did I come away with from uh your workshop? Well, I've come away with four things, systems, production, logistics, and profit sharing. As far as your systems are concerned. I think that uh your systems were both measurable, strategic and tactical. So as a consequence, um you've come away with uh various methodologies where you can become profitable in months, not years. As far as your production is concerned for me is um Jordan Barry would say this was the secret sauce. Um It taught me how I can fully optimize my laundromat. Turn it into a productive laundromat plant. That's important because you have um over 2 $300,000 worth of equipment or more sitting there doing virtually nothing. And um and this gives um uh a laundromat owner an opportunity to generate uh profits during that third shift. And uh watching your crew uh perform their task was, was just something amazing to watch. It really helped me crystallize in my mind, what I need to do when the time comes for us to start um our laundromat business, uh logistics, route logistics. You have built in efficiencies with your route logistics, which I think save both time and money. Um The experiences that you provided uh you know, from the world of hard knocks, I think was uh very much appreciated because it's going to help everyone who implements your strategies. Uh save a lot of time and a lot of money uh which is extremely important. And then I think the third thing was um the profit sharing, I think what Carlo has put together as far as your profit sharing is concerned. Um It just adds to your bottom line and it gives you the ability to retain staff um by making them part of the process. And I think that's extremely important because losing staff is very inefficient and um as a consequence, you lose time and money through retraining. So um an excellent experience um really enjoyed it. I will be joining the um coaching program um at some point uh in the future. And um it's something that I would highly recommend to anybody who's looking to get into this business. So great job guys, look forward to seeing you again.
Was it worth the investment?
Harold G Wentz: Was it worth your investment? Hell, yeah, without question, it was worth the investment. The primary reason is because you're spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on equipment and a third of the time it's sitting there doing absolutely nothing or it's marginally effective. What you've shown me was how to create a production center, which is extremely important. That's what I'm looking for. I want to take advantage of that third shift. I want to optimize the equipment as you stated that the equipment is built and designed to run 24/7, 365, just like mainframe computers back in the day. I'm looking to fully utilize this equipment, optimize it to generate the most profit. So, um I'd spend it again without hesitation. So, yeah.
