Please introduce yourself and tell us why you chose to work with Gerry
Daniel Stein: Hi, my name is Daniel Stein. I'm the CEO and founder of a company called Special Strong. And we have seven franchisees. And the reason I started working with Gerry ultimately was so I could help my franchisees. We were having a very hard time getting their royalty dollars higher and I felt stuck. I didn't know what to do. And I learned about Gerry and ultimately hired him to help us increase royalty dollars for our franchisees. We all know that we want happy franchisees. And, for me, that was really important as the CEO was to find solutions to ultimately help them grow and be more profitable.
Describe your experience with Gerry as a consultant and coach
Daniel Stein: I've actually worked with quite a few consultants in the Franchising world and working with Gerry was very unique. One of the things that I really loved about Gerry is he's not the Mr nice guy consultant that's gonna come in and rub your shoulders and say, hey, everything's gonna be ok. You know, you can do a little bit better. You know, Gerry's the kind of person that he's gonna call you out if you're not doing something right and it needs to be improved
upon, he is going to challenge you. And as a CEO, I need those type of people in my life. I am not looking to have a bunch of yes people around me, I am looking for consultants and people like Gerry who are gonna call me out on things I'm doing wrong or things that I think I'm doing great at. maybe I've deceived myself and I think I'm just doing amazing in certain areas when I'm really not. And you know, Gerry is so tactful in the way that he challenged me specifically to change some things to help with my franchisee's growth. And you know, ultimately that's helped us now over the course of six months, you know, our royalty dollars alone have grown by over 25% just from some of the things that, he's implemented into our business.
What has been the top benefits of working with Gerry for you, your team and franchisees
Daniel Stein: Yeah, you know, there's been so many benefits of working with Gerry. You know, our company was fortunate to have adopted the EOS principles over the last couple of years. And one of the things that I loved about Gerry is he sort of has his own set of principles that are in line with EOS called FOS Franchise Operating System. So, one of the big benefits for us was we already had the EOS framework and Gerry very much understands the EOS framework and he really has kind of taken EOS to a different level to kind of customize it for the franchisor. EOS is not really designed for the franchisor. I mean, it works for franchisors, but it's not really designed for franchisors. So he's created his own unique system and tools specifically with EOS to help franchisors like myself. And again, in our case, over the last six months of working with Gerry, our royalty dollars alone have grown by over 25%. And I am so grateful that we are more profitable today. But most important for me as a company who is relationship focused over profit, you know, our franchisees are happier. I mean, they are happier because Gerry has given us tools that we have been able to implement with our franchisees that has ultimately made them happier, not only because they're more profitable, but they now have tools that they can use in their own business to help their own team. And that is a very empowering feeling as a franchisee to have the right tools that you know are going to truly help you succeed.
