Jana Ward: To my incredible Fairaccres staff and all of the amazing educators of Las Cruces Public schools, I'd like to say thank you. Thank you for the early mornings and late nights and every moment in between. Thank you for your hard work and dedication and the compassion you show to our students. This year hasn't been easy, and it's asked us to show up for our students in ways that we never could have imagined. And yet there you were, showing up with kindness and grace and patience when our students needed it most. You created classrooms where students felt valued and safe and inspired to grow. Please know the work that you do matters way more than words can capture. You're shaping lives and building futures and making a difference far beyond this school year. I'm grateful for each and every one of you. Our school is a better place because you work here and our community is stronger because of your dedication to education. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week.
