Please tell us about your experience with Laborie, and how the specific service or product has benefited you?
Randa: Our patients and staff love the Renova Centesis Pump. We recently switched to this from vacuum bottles, and it is so much more convenient to transport the Renova bags to and from patient rooms than it is the heavy, bulky bottles. We are able to drain paracentesis patients much quicker while maintaining the same level of comfort for the patient. We have had less issue with the catheter catching on bowel since switching to Renova. Recurrent thoracentesis patients prefer to be drained with a centesis pump, as we are able to drain slower if necessary to make the process easier on their body. Previously, it was either draining full speed or clamping the drain entirely. We would highly recommend this product to another facility.

Randa: Yes. So I would recommend this product. It is much more convenient for our staff and it is easier on our patients as well.
