Please tell us about your experience with Optilume® BPH
Hello, my name is Mike and I'm 69 years old. I have had BPH issues for about 20 years getting up at night, four and five times, not being able to void completely during the day. And then I ended up with severe case of bladder stones. And the options available to me at the time were things like TURP and Aquablation and the side effects were of such, I wasn't interested in either one and I continue to research and study and I saw where they had this Optilume and I wanted to follow it and I just continued to do so to try to see if I could do away with these symptoms that I had. And as the trials were coming back, the results were very, very positive. And so I stayed in contact with Laborie to see when it would be available in the US. And then looking at all the different people that were doing it. Doctor Dean Laganosky of MidLantic was recommended to me and I had the procedure done May the 20th, totally painless recovery was a very short time, no issues there whatsoever. After about the fifth day, I started noticing improvements and it just continued like that for probably two weeks. And then it, I leveled off where I would say I'm 80% better than I have ever been and I'm very happy with it and I was so impressed with the folks of MidLantic from the moment you arrive, everything is totally professional. The nurses absolutely tops. Doctor Laganosky went over the whole procedure with me, beforehand and like I said earlier, there was no pain, there's nothing.
