What do you like about your home visitor and the visits? Why would you recommend the program to others?
With the Raising Baby program, I've had a really great experience working with both Melanie and Cynthia. They've helped me through a lot of different situations that I've had with my 20-month-old daughter, and I really appreciated them being there since before the baby was born and helping to work with me on things that I didn't know too much about, such as milestone developments. They helped me a lot when I was concerned about my daughter's social emotional growth, as well as her language development. I'm really thankful for them in providing me with different activities that I could do with my daughter to help kind of get her more engaged. I feel that thanks to their support and help through the home visiting program, we've been able to feel that we're on track. I'm confident on where my daughter is and where I am as a parent. I really, really am really thankful for having this as an opportunity for us to take advantage of, especially as a first-time parent with not a lot of support or family nearby. It's really hard to know where to turn for advice, and Raising Baby has been a really big support for my husband and I in raising our daughter. I really would recommend it to any any parent, first-time or not, it's just a really great service to help you stay engaged with your child's development as well as feel that you're doing what you can as a parent. Even if it's not about perfection or anything else, it's just kind of knowing where you are engaging your child in a different way and getting additional perspectives and help has been so, so beneficial for us.
