Speaker: Kwaku, HM Forces

When did you first hear about Serve and Protect Credit Union and why did you join?

Kwaku: I first heard about Serve and Protect from a recommendation from friends. And they shared with me the benefits of joining and all. And I read about it on the website and some videos, like what I'm doing now. People sharing the experiences and all. So, yeah, that was the reason why I joined the benefits and the help and feeling part of a community where you can go and they can come to your aid if you are in need.

How has the credit union helped you?

Kwaku: the credit union has been of great, great massive help to me. Like I said earlier, being part of the credit union is like being part of a family. They've helped me in so many ways. A typical example was with my parents were relocating back to Ghana, and I needed some funds to help them assist them move because they needed a place to stay. So I called o the service the credit union Serve and Protect and I told them my story and yeah. I took out some money, and in less than 15 minutes, I had the money to assist my parents which was a really, really great experience. And since then it was just me referring friends to it and telling friends about sharing the good news and all that. And it's been great. It's been a really, really great journey. I mean, being part of such a community and it's been amazing. It's just been such a success story.

What is the best thing about being part of the credit union?

Kwaku: The best thing of being part of the credit union is the feeling of being part of a big community like big family. Something that you can say you can rely on whenever you need help. It just put you in a a very good position to save because, your savings come directly from your wages and before it hits your account, your savings have already been taken. So it puts people who are not really, really good with, you know, money to save to save. So I've actually recommended it to so many of my friends that I struggle with saving. So yeah, it's been a really, really good experience, and it's been really great. I will always recommend I mean to anyone to join their credit union. Because it gives that feeling of being part of something good being, part of a family and being part of something that, in case you need help, they will come to your aid and help you. And yeah, it's it's been an amazing experience, and I always recommend it.
