Please tell us a bit about yourself.
Eric Johnson : Hi, I'm Eric Johnson and I am a freelance content consultant and creator, living between Barcelona Spain and the USA brief background for nearly 20 years. I've been in some type of writing or editing or content role. I've worked in a number of startups as a freelancer and as a head of content, I've also hired a number of freelancers for different roles.
What did you enjoy about the course?
Eric Johnson - BAFW: If you are just getting started down this path, the becoming a freelance writer course, uh really has everything you need to know to get started. What I really liked about it was, it is very comprehensive and well structured. Uh without the fluff, it's got everything you need from becoming a better writer to setting up a successful business. It's also very practical. It's very up to date and it's filled with different example briefs and templates that you can download, adapt to your needs and start using right away. I also found the editing sections to be worth the cost alone. It really gives you step by step, illustrative walkthrough of all you need to know, to take your original work and turn it into something that you actually can be proud to present and the companies will appreciate. I know there are some freelancers I've worked with in the past who would have benefited a lot. Uh Just from that one section,
Is there any advice you’d give to someone thinking about taking the course?
Eric Johnson - BAFW: the course is very comprehensive. As I said, it's not something you're gonna get through in a couple of days. Uh because it takes time and once you've been through the course, of course, it takes more time to practice refine, get feedback and hone your skills. But if you put in the effort, you will end up a better writer and really a better business partner that companies are excited to work with. So I hope you find it useful and all the best on your freelance writing journey.
