Please introduce yourself - what is your name, location, and occupation?

Jenlen J Ng: Hi, greetings from Hong Kong. This is Jan. I have an education center here with about 200 students. I'm really pleased to be one of the entrepreneurs, certified educator. I really look forward to bring this program to the students in Hong Kong. I want to uh my goals are really for them to open up their horizons. Think out of the box. And most importantly, I want them to know that they have choices uh when it comes to their future. I'm planning a three day camp uh at the end of August and hopefully I'll be able to share my experience with everyone and that we can learn from each other. Hm. So here I am and um I look forward to meeting everybody. Thanks.

Could you share a few details about your overall experience with the program so far?

Jenlen J Ng: So as far as customer support and responsiveness is concerned, um Sylvia and her team are very helpful. She's always ready to answer all my questions. In the first instance, she's been very responsive and helpful. She actually really settles some of my nerves. Um Currently, I am working with the Chinese University on my day camp and I did form a partnership with two very capable um friend of mine and hopefully we can bring this program into the international schools here. And uh when I was developing the program for the day camp, I have a lot of ideas floating out, but right now, I am a bit swamped. So maybe I will share my experience later on when I confirm all the details and teaching techniques. Um I always want my classes to be lively and active. So I would like to incorporate other um activities in in into the camp and um I am in the mid middle of planning this. So um yes, I would share my ideas when I uh settle all the details. And a ha moment aha moment is when I'm actually planning this day camp and I'm looking at how far this can take me and the students, I'm really, really excited because I not only want them to see the, the the world outside, I want them to excel in whatever they set out to do. And I think the skills, the life skills we gonna teach them is gonna be with them forever. And hopefully, um whatever they plan to do in the future, these skills will help them. Thank you.

What are some of the key benefits or features of our Kidpreneurs Certified Educators program that you found most valuable?

Jenlen J Ng: I think the features of our Entrepreneur Certified Education program are very well thought out. Um I think for anybody who is not experienced or experience in teaching, we have no problems learning the ropes. Um I think uh it has interesting activities and it gives a variety of, of, of various skills uh that kids can learn and I think the design of it is really nice. Um Except that I think maybe uh along the way, we could maybe add in videos, I think kids will be more interested in, in watching videos these days. I think um I, I am uh collaborating with uh Stephanie from Singapore and we try to meet once a week and you know, talk about the progress and I plan to invite her to come to Hong Kong when I host this day camp. So yeah, it's really nice to work with someone who understands the program and can converse with you. Thank you.

What advice would you give to parents, educators or entrepreneurs who are interested in becoming a Certified Educator?

Jenlen J Ng: I definitely would recommend others to sign up for this course because I think it is very helpful when we teach the kids how to prepare for the future, to overcome obstacles, to think out of the box, to be able to solve problems and be able to face failures and embrace success. Um When I sign up for this course, I want, I have only one thing in mind. I want uh for the students in Hong Kong to have a passion in things that they do to follow their hearts instead of listening to what others tell them to do. This is very important. Um When I was uh going through the course, I said to myself if I would have studied this uh when I was young and this would have saved me a lot of hardship when I became an entrepreneur. But still I think is not too late. I think I came out of this course, a much stronger person and I know this life skills who will follow me and help me when I have problems. The experience has been very exciting and truthfully, I've never worked so hard in my life. Uh trying to figure out how to launch the program and how to market the program. Luckily I was able to find two very capable partners. So I really am looking forward to this whole new venture. Thank you.

How does it feel to be a Kidpreneurs Certified Educator?

Jenlen J Ng: I know there are a lot of opportunities ahead of me for sure. Um I'm looking to bring this program out of Hong Kong, possibly to China and other parts of Asia. But my main focus right now is to launch this day camp successfully. I'm sure I will be approached by other educators in Hong Kong to teach this program. The biggest difference for me is before and after the becoming a certified educator is that I develop a very strong sense of social responsibility. From day one. When I joined this program, I have a mission that I want to change the lives of the low income class families, studentss. Um If I ever, I'm gonna hold a a course or a day camp, I will be sure to include some of them. I want them to see that they have a future, a bright future ahead of them. Um The outlook on being part of the kids rene educated community. Um I really want that we joined force together over with every part of the world. Um I really want to maybe have a circle of the young entrepreneurs to, to have a summit. Maybe every, every three or four months to exchange ideas to do networking and brainstorm and whatnot. This is what I really want to see. Thank you.
