Speaker: William Allen
What was life like before you joined Kettlebell Transformation?
William Allen: So I'd, I'd always been active, um, always mountain bike backpack. Um, you know, I always wanted to do something outside and, and been pretty in pretty good shape, um, within the last three or four years, uh, really become more sedentary and I put on a good bit of weight. Um, it was a, um, two blood pressure medications. Uh, I was starting to worry about the possibility of a heart attack or stroke. Uh, and at 54 years old that's, uh, that was something I was not ready to come to terms with. So, and I had started Swinging Bells on my own. Um, it was just, uh, every day on Instagram looking for another workout. Uh, I didn't have any kind of a, uh, any kind of a plan at all. Um, and then, um, stumble across Grant and, um, started following and, and, uh, you know, eventually started chatting with him and, and, uh, ended up joining.
What were the stats around your weight & health prior to joining KT?
William Allen: Before I joined KT, I was, uh, 220 pounds. Um, it's on two blood pressure medications. Uh, um, you know, eating poorly. Um, I'll be drinking a little too much. Um, just basically all the, the worst health decisions you can, you can make not working out. Um, yeah, it wasn't good.
What were your most pressing concerns surrounding your health prior to joining KT?
William Allen: My most pressing health concerns before joining were, uh, blood pressure and, um, being overweight. Um, so I was really looking for a program that was gonna, you know, help me drop some weight and, uh, get my blood pressure back in, in line so I could possibly come off some of the medication.
What's life like now after implementing the KT System?
William Allen: I've been in KT for, uh, right at 10 months, uh, lost 52 pounds. Um, I lost about four inches in my waist. Um, I've gone from swinging a 32 kg to a 44 kg. Um, doing get ups with, uh, started with a 24 and now I'm doing a 40 just, uh, so much stronger, feel so much better, um, tons more energy. Uh, get up in the morning, looking forward to my workout, um, which I've never done. Um, you know, it's a, it's, it's been a, a game changer for me. Um, I've come off one of my blood pressure medications, um, hopefully coming off the, the other one soon. Um, it's just been an, uh, an amazing transformation for me, honestly.
What’s next for you with your health and fitness? Are you confident you can keep this system going long-term?
William Allen: I plan on staying in KT for, you know, as long as these guys will have me, it's, uh, don't wanna go anywhere. Um, this is definitely a long term plan. Um, I think once you're, once you start and, uh, get through the program, I don't, I don't see why you would ever stop. Um, this is sustainable through your seventies and into your eighties. I think so. Um, yeah, I just, um, which I had found this, uh, when I was younger. Honestly, this is a, this is, it.
What’s the #1 piece of advice you would offer to a guy on the fence about continuing to invest in the KT System?
William Allen: So I would tell somebody who's on the fence, um, to go ahead and join, pull the trigger. Um, I know it's, uh, I know it's an investment but you're gonna see a big return. Um, if you do the work, listen to your coach, follow nutrition. I mean, the, the plans laid out for you, you, uh, I mean, if you follow the plan you cannot lose, um, you, you're told exactly what to eat, how to eat, um, what workout to do all the instructions are there. Um, you know, you've got these great coaches, um, join, that's all, that's all I can tell you is just do it.
