Speaker: Raj K

Can you briefly describe where you found yourself before joining Kettlebell Transformation and what ultimately led you to decide to join?

Raj K: Hey, prior to joining KT, I was in a 7 to 8 year yo yoing cycle of losing the same 30-40 pounds over 6-7 months and then spending the next 6-7 just regaining it all back. So I was looking for something that would give me many more sustainable habits, you know, permanent hardwire changes to my lifestyle to be less sedentary exercise, work out more, eat better, focus on nutrition. Uh, and just give me those long term sustainable habits that would actually last and I could keep the weight off instead of the constant yo yo cycle.

What specific results have you achieved since starting with Kettlebell Transformation?

Raj K: Hey, since my time with KT, I've lost 55 pounds. I've gone from, uh, barely being able to do a body weight. Get up to, uh, doing a 40k Get up. Uh, a two hand swing, the uh, 48k, I can one hand swing the 40k. I passed the five minute snatch test with a 24k bell. Um, and then, uh, more specifically, I can, I can play five rounds of golf in a row without having any soreness or stiffness and I can even work out in the mornings, uh, before going to play those rounds. Uh, I can hike, uh, I can go for long walks, uh, pick up my kids just, you know, all the strength needed for just daily enjoyment of life. Um, but for me that the golf thing is, is really big. You know, I would never be able to play three rounds in a row after two. I would just be haggard and, uh, sore and it would affect my game. And now there's just, there's no limits.

How has Kettlebell Transformation changed your health and fitness approach, and what would you say to someone considering joining?

Raj K: KT has completely changed my relationship with, uh, fitness and health, uh, on the exercise side, you know, just not being sedentary, always moving, getting up first thing of the day, getting a long walk in and making sure I have my 15,000 steps by the end of the day and getting my four workouts in every week, no matter what, uh, it just becomes part of life and, and what I do and I plan my days around it if I know I'm going to be busy, uh, and have a short window in the afternoon, I make sure I'm getting my walk or my workout in, uh, at that moment. So, uh, things will get away from me and before I know it, it's the end of the day and I've missed it. It's, it's a priority and I just build it into everything I do. And, uh, with nutrition it's, it's completely changed. Even my taste buds and my preferences on what I crave what I want to eat. What I order at a restaurant. Always looking for, uh, leaner healthier options and, uh, uh, I don't have to track my calories or my macros anymore. I've been doing it long enough where I just know what to eat and how much to eat and, uh, uh, it's just how you do things now and it doesn't, has never felt like a diet or an exercise program or something that you have to, uh, be adhering to. It. Just changes who you are.
