Speaker: Bob Butterworth, Former Founder/CEO
Can you briefly describe where you found yourself before joining Kettlebell Transformation and what ultimately led you to decide to join?
Bob Butterworth: Um, before KT, I think I was in what I would describe as a multi multiyear rut. Um, I, I was going to the gym, I was walking, I was kind of eating well. Um, but I, I just couldn't find a groove, you know, I couldn't find a system, I couldn't find something that's sustainable, uh or anything that would just, you know, stick basically. Um So not only was I not losing weight but I was slowly gaining weight and that's despite, you know, my efforts, uh what led me to join KT was just a desire for something totally new, you know, the realization that uh what I was doing was not working. Um I always liked the efficiency of kettlebells. Um, and, and KT brought me, you know, sort of a, a turnkey system. Um, and the accountability that I, that I needed.
What specific results have you achieved since starting with Kettlebell Transformation?
Bob Butterworth: In terms of results, I pretty quickly lost 25 pounds to reach my goal weight. And I did that in probably about six weeks. Um I gained significant functional strength uh with muscle growth. Um But importantly, I think I came to um to realize the importance of functional strength in my life and I previously did not. Um I also came to better understand my body um and how to manage it with training and movement and nutrition uh and sleep. And now I totally understand where I am and how to stay here. Um So yeah, I'm uh I'm in control.
How has Kettlebell Transformation changed your health and fitness approach, and what would you say to someone considering joining?
Bob Butterworth: Kettlebell Transformation has changed my health and fitness approach in the sense that it's just part of what I do now. Um, it's not a, it's not a big thing. It's just part of what I do. You know, it's no different than, uh, washing your face or, or brushing your teeth, you know. Um, I will say it's not always something I want to do, but I do it anyway. Um, and I get that win every time. Um, it's, um, nonnegotiable as we say in the program. So, yeah, now I have a sustainable approach to health and fitness for the first time in my adult life. Um, as far as someone who's considering joining KT, I'd say if you're, if you're actually ready to make the changes, do it, I mean, KT advertises weight loss, but you'll come to realize that the program is so much more than that. It's almost, it's almost funny. Um, you know, looking back. So I've heard, I've heard men, um, consider, you know, KT versus a personal trainer. Um, and to me that's, that's a bizarre debate, you know, Apples versus Oranges, a trainer might give you a program. Uh, they're gonna count your reps and, you know, call it a day. Um KT is an investment in your health span and ultimately your lifespan. So if you love your family and you wanna get the most out of your time here, uh be there for your kids, your grandkids and great grandkids, um take the leap, you know, um I think getting that time is invaluable. Um And I'm, I'm confident that later in my life, I'm going to agree with that statement and be, be happy that, uh, that I made the investment.
