Speaker: Andrew Terpstra

Can you briefly describe where you found yourself before joining Kettlebell Transformation and what ultimately led you to decide to join?

Andrew Terpstra: Bye before KT I was in a period of not working out, you know, I'm someone that has been uh interested in fitness and different workouts for, uh a number of years and had some success. But ultimately, I end up getting away from that and not really getting it, um, sticking with it and making a lot of progress. And I was in that kind of period. Now, obviously, before I joined the program, you know, I'm not, I'm not kicking butt. I get fitness wise right before that. Right. Obviously, I wasn't. Uh, and then I had joined Instagram and been fed like, uh all the Instagram people, right? So the Instagram, I was seeing all them and Grant because it became a thing. Grant said something about a program, you need a program. Um And ultimately, I believe that, you know, I needed some help. I needed somewhere to go and I forget the, the specific roll call that was put out there one day, but I was ready to go, you know, I was like, I had, I had tried enough on my own and I wanted to make progress. I, I knew kettlebells could work and I wanted to see how I could make them work.

What specific results have you achieved since starting with Kettlebell Transformation?

Andrew Terpstra: I do actually remember going into KT that they had this thing that they said that if you honestly did the program and you didn't get results, they would give you your money back. And I, I did remember that I did have like some peace of mind because of that in a way. But I started doing the program, I started following the suggestions. I started doing the exercises and doing the walking and trying to eat better and all that. And lo and behold, it did work, right? Like I went, I lost the 1st 20 pounds and then I lost actually 20 more pounds. And like it happened to me twice in my life where I've in one year or so or even less this time, I lost weight like that like this in this year, less than one year, I lost 40 pounds and the feeling that it does to your body, like when you wake up, like, you just, you feel something that's kind of amazing, you know, and it's like it really gets, it's an awesome feeling that something's actually happened and you don't often get that and you don't have no idea what it was or anything. I don't even know. Like, it's just, it's a feeling that you get, like, it's very interesting. It's not like Christmas or anything. It's just, I don't know, it's just weird. It's like, but it's a feeling, a true feeling you get. So I lost all that weight and I felt good. I felt better. Um, I learned to cook a little bit more because I had to rely on myself to cook like some more healthy meals. So I got on my grill a little bit more and I learned how to grill some different stuff and, um, you know, that and I feel better. I think about it with the ease of which I pick up my kid, you know, the ease just, I just can pick him up, I can throw him around. He's a young boy, you know. But like I just, there's no problem, you know, there's no problem. It's kind of fun, uh, and easy. Um, just the way I feel about myself and about life, you know, and just the habits that I have, the habit of getting this walking in the habit of the, you thinking what I'm thinking about, um, noticing what I'm thinking about eating, like paying attention to eating and I know what to look for. And just the, the thing, if I'm gonna get these workouts in some, one way or another, all every week, I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do four week outs, at least every week, book it.

How has Kettlebell Transformation changed your health and fitness approach, and what would you say to someone considering joining?

Andrew Terpstra: For me, the approach of KT is really great, right? It has all the different aspects that you gotta work on in terms of the food and the walking. But then the exercise of just doing swings and get ups that, um, for me, it was brilliant, right? Just, uh, getting better at those exercises and getting stronger with those exercises, uh, is a great, great approach. It uh made tremendous dividends for me in my health, uh in my confidence just in my strength, you know, my strength has gone up, my technique with Kettlebell has gone up, I've gone on and done other exercises that I feel good with. Um, and, you know, I got, I've lost a bunch of weight. I look better. I feel better in my clothes. I feel better when I go around. Um, I've had, uh, been to the doctor, the doctor is quite impressed, you know, the other than one in some amount of time I had gotten so much better. Um, so, absolutely. And I think the coaching and the, the help with all that, like the plan, uh, is absolutely worth it. So I would, I would definitely encourage the people to join.
