Please introduce yourself and share one of the most valuable things you took from your education at KGI.
Paul Anderson: Hi, my name is Paul Anderson. I have to say that the KGI Applied Genomics program provided our class with an amazing wealth of knowledge across a broad spectrum of challenges and developments in human genomics. We learned not just the pure cold science and technology but also benefited from a vicarious view of a patient's emotional experiences as they navigated their diagnostic odysseys and hopefully their eventual genomic therapies as shared to us by a veteran genomics counselor. This was definitely a well-rounded program. Besides the amazing breadth of genomics topics provided by the excellent KGI instructors. One of the most valuable aspects of the program for me was the hands-on training and the use of online tools that equipped me with the ability to continue to do research and explore advances in human genomics long after completing the program. So thank you KGI for enabling my lifelong learning in genomics.
