Why do you love helping customers on JustAnswer?
TrialGuy: I've been an attorney for almost 10 years now. I love helping people on JustAnswer with their legal questions because I know I can make someone's day brighter while I'm sitting in my living room on my computer. They'll send in a message and in just a few keystrokes, I'm able to give them clarity about something that they're dealing with or remove stress from someone who doesn't know where to turn for answers. JustAnswer is different from representing people because of how quickly we can get those answers to the customers and help them move forward without actually needing to go into a law office.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
TrialGuy: Most of the questions that I got and JustAnswer are people who are wanting to understand a particular law better. They'll ask me what the law says about a particular issue or even reference the law and just ask me what it means. It feels good to give people confidence to know what the law really says so that they can make the best decision for themselves moving forward.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
TrialGuy: My most heartwarming moment with the customer was someone who stood in the question about an adoption. They've been taking care of their niece and nephew for basically the kids entire lives, but they didn't know how to get started on formally adopting the children. And I was able to point them in the right direction of their state self help guide for adoptions and give them contact information for pro bono attorneys in their area. They were so grateful and I know from personal experience how much adoption can mean to children so I was more than happy to help them get started.
