Timothy Craig Johnson II: I love answering questions for JustAnswer because I myself am a technician still currently in the field and I know how valuable it is to be able to have answers ready at your fingertips. When you're out working on something and you need an answer, ready within the next 30 minutes to an hour to just minutes. So I know that's very valuable.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
Timothy Craig Johnson II: Being a boat mechanic, I receive everything from a trailer, questions to electronic questions, to service questions, oil capacities, spec questions, all kinds of questions, honestly. Anything that has to do with boats, capacity questions, and a lot of rigging and setting up questions.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
Timothy Craig Johnson II: The most memorable call was when I had a customer thought that he had a locked up motor because it would not start. And we come to find out he was getting a clicking noise. And with some simple diagnosis, we found out that he actually had bad battery cables. He tested his battery. Battery was good, couldn't understand it. And thought his motor was blown. Come to find out his battery cables were bad.
