Introduce yourself and briefly explain the situation that had you seeking professional services?

Shannon Martin: My name is Shannon. I signed up with JustAnswer this morning. One of my dogs was having heavy breathing and I was really worried. I thought maybe I would have to go to an emergency vet. So I asked the question, signed up and I had a vet calling me within a few minutes. He was very helpful and very nice and sympathetic. He gave me great advice. I took her to the vet when they opened and she's got medication and she's doing great.

What was compelling about JustAnswer that made you choose it?

Shannon Martin: Just like every person on earth, I googled my dogs symptoms when she had been treated for heartworms months ago and last night she was having heavy breathing and coughing. And so obviously I was very worried. So I googled her symptoms and JustAnswer came up. They were very helpful and I'm very glad that I found them. I was able to wait to take her to the vet. So I didn't have to go to the emergency vet. So not only did they ease my mind but they saved me money.

How was your experience with JustAnswer? Was the Expert able to solve your problem thoroughly?

Shannon Martin: The vet was very helpful and very professional. He answered all my questions, eased my mind and I was able to not take her to the emergency vet, which was great. We went and saw the vet about an hour and a half later when they actually opened, he called me at 6am and answered my questions for me. So I was very grateful he was very professional. And Sweetie, my dog is doing great. Got her new antibiotics and everything.

What did it feel like to have your question answered by a JustAnswer Expert? (ie. relief, piece of mind, empowerment)

Shannon Martin: I was up all night on and off worrying about my dog. She had had heartworm treatments a few months ago and last night and this morning she was having heavy breathing and coughing just like the heart worm. So I was really worried, I woke up all night and finally I woke up at 6am and found JustAanswer. Uh, within a few minutes of Within a few minutes of signing up, the vet called me, helped me figure out what was going on that I could wait, and take her to my normal vet, not the emergency vet. So overall, I just felt a big sense of relief that she's gonna be ok. He asked me if she was eating regularly. She was, so, you know, rather than knowing nothing and just being afraid I had somewhere to start and I felt much better and she's been treated at our local vet.

What would you say to a friend if you were describing JustAnswer?

Shannon Martin: I actually didn't know until after I asked my vet question that they answer all kinds of questions and have all kinds of professionals and experts. So that's pretty cool. So that's pretty cool and it's immediate, which is great because I know this morning when I woke up and I was worried about my dog, I needed answers immediately. And my vet wasn't open yet.
