I've been a mechanic for 18 years now, professionally and I know what it's like to take pride in your work and being a DIYer, and you gotta start somewhere and a lot of people out there just love taking pride in being able to do things themselves. So they seek out expertise.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
PeterW0513: Questions received on JustAnswer are a very broad spectrum anywhere from, depending on country makes and models... You could be high end, low end, exotic cars, different countries, Australia, Africa, US, Canada, everything from domestic to European to Asian to anything electric. It's very all over.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
PeterW0513: My most memorable comes down to two different scenarios. One was a couple of women stranded in an RV park that their truck wouldn't come out of park. There's too much weight on the back and they were on an incline, shifter was simply just stuck and they really just had to, uh, to get it to go. But other than that, probably carrying a conversation with a guy across the country from me for almost six months, you know, completed his question. But yet we carried on just different issues, different scenarios, talked to him on the phone. We talked about life and football fans and where we're from. And it's, that was probably the most memorable.
