Why do you love helping customers on JustAnswer?
GregoryJ0510: So I love being able to help customers on this site to just get the most accurate information. I'm in oncology. I've been in oncology for 15 years. It's a scary field in the sense that obviously people are being diagnosed with cancer and they just don't know what to do or where to turn. So I like being able to give them accurate information, hopefully put their mind at ease, reducing the anxiety they may have and just help, give them some accurate information to make the best treatment decision or information possible.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
GregoryJ0510: The types of questions that I typically get are usually related to interpreting imaging results or interpreting potential biopsy results, specifically related to my field of oncology. I do help answer other questions. Just general medicine questions which could be anything from symptom related, which can help with their mind at ease. Or just again, mainly interpreting results of lab work that they get.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
GregoryJ0510: The most memorable story that I remember getting on this is a patient who had a question about an imaging CAT scan was all over their chest. They had a history of cancer and this was a kind of surveillance scan. And they were obviously very nervous that what it showed could potentially be a recurrence. And they did, they had questions on what it showed and the report said, so I was able to help digest that and break it down for them. And from my perspective, it ended up looking like it was not a recurrence, which obviously was, I'm grateful for being able to tell them.
