Introduce yourself and briefly explain the situation that had you seeking professional services?

Beth Marie East: My name is Beth and I was recently at my cabin in northern Michigan. Late on a Sunday night, my puppy ingested some plastic from the drawstring of my yoga pants. So about 10:30 on a Sunday night, you know, not many vets are open, only emergency ones and we were an hour away from one. So luckily I got online and found JustAnswer and I was able to resolve my issue and kind of ease my mind after speaking with a vet.

What was compelling about JustAnswer that made you choose it?

Beth Marie East: After doom scrolling and seeing all the horrible things that could happen to my puppy. I was in kind of a state of panic. And what was great about JustAnswer is I had read that other people had similar things happen, in many different situations and I would be able to get to speak with a veterinarian without having to drive an hour, you know, late at night, for maybe unnecessarily. So it was great knowing that somebody could help me over the phone, right away.

How was your experience with JustAnswer? Was the Expert able to solve your problem thoroughly?

Beth Marie East: My experience was great. Being able to speak with a vet at 10:30 at night, like I said, on a Sunday and having her walk through the steps with me of - What exactly happened? How big was my puppy? What did she ingest? etc, etc. She went through very thorough steps with me and made me realize that I did not need to rush in a panic to a vet late at night, that I just needed to monitor my puppy. It wasn't something that was sharp like a needle, etc, etc. And she answered all my questions and then some, and I just felt like a wave of relief. So I was so grateful to speak with somebody who could help me walk through the steps of what I needed to do next.

Beth Marie East: And as I already mentioned, I was just, my mind was very much put at ease. I was really in a state of panic and that does nobody any good. So it was great to speak with a professional who actually knew what to look out for, knew if my pet was in danger or not and was able to really give me some good solid advice and I was able to get to sleep that night. So.

What would you say to a friend if you were describing JustAnswer?

Beth Marie East: Sometimes life presents us with situations that are not always occurring at the optimal time. So it was great to know that. And I would tell anybody who finds themselves in a situation when it's not business hours or they can't access a doctor or a vet or whatever their problem may be, that they can get answers and they can maybe put their mind at ease or know what their next steps are by reaching out on JustAnswer.
