Why do you love helping customers on JustAnswer?
BenjaminT1018: I've been working with technology pretty much my whole life and it comes easy to me and I enjoy it a lot and it's nice to be able to help people with that when it doesn't come easy for them and to do so in my own time and my own space.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
BenjaminT1018: We get so many different kinds of questions. Some of them are simple and common, like trouble logging in, email problems. Some of them are much more unusual, like weird behavior with very specific pieces of technology that require a little bit of research because I've never worked with that exact thing. But because I know where to look and how to find out, I can help with that and I learned something along the way.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
BenjaminT1018: One memorable story is a woman whose cat destroyed her laptop charging cable and it was an older laptop. So they were no longer being made by the manufacturer and places online were gouging for used ones really outrageously expensive and her battery was dying. She didn't have another, another way to, to buy a new one. And so she, you know, the clock was ticking. I was able to find her a third-party charging cable that I knew would work that was much cheaper than originally used ones. And she could be confident that in a few days she'd get that and be able to plug in her laptop and use it again and we were able to finish up and get that ordered before her battery died.
