Why do you love helping customers on JustAnswer?
ShaneB0118: I absolutely love JustAnswer, being able to help people on the fly as I go wherever I am with the app on, on my phone or whether I'm on the laptop. As long as I have service or internet, I'm there to help somebody, can take it with you anywhere. Being able to use my 15 years of mechanic expertise to essentially help people all over the world, all over the country and, and remotely. It's amazing.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
ShaneB0118: At JustAnswer, we're here to help with any question you can possibly think of. I get questions all the time from, you know, with an RV, helping somebody to get their slide out to come back in to retract. All the way to maybe somebody's broke down on the side of the road and they're trying to figure out where the closest services might be or a tow truck or something to help with somebody with a four wheeler that doesn't have spark and they need some electrical diagnostics and walking them through that step by step. And so, I just love that every day is different. Every question is different. You know, and in turn, you also learn something sometimes because you being able to solve a problem for somebody. You may be like, oh, ok... Now I'm gonna store that in my information, I've seen that before. So the next time someone has a similar question, you'll be able to help them even faster because you'll know, hey, I just saw that yesterday.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
ShaneB0118: One of the most heartwarming experiences I've had with JustAnswer was helping a father and son on a cross country motorcycle trip. And it happened to me during a major holiday and of course, a lot of businesses were closed. They were out in the middle of nowhere and being able to help get the, the son's motorcycle started and get them back on the road and get them moving again was just such a heartwarming experience. You know, me being a father and being a son, obviously that to, to see them working together and enjoying this trip and keeping them on the road without having to, you know, sacrifice some of the destinations they wanted to hit by having to wait for a shop to be open, you know, on a holiday or late at night or whatever it is that I really, it really touched me to being able to be here for them.
