Why do you love helping customers on JustAnswer?
MichaelB842: The reason that I like helping customers on JustAnswer is because I've been doing this for decades, four decades and so many people are falling victim to scams and malware and other issues with their computers or electronic devices. And I don't know how many times I've been told that I am an angel, that I'm their guardian, that, I have made their day.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
MichaelB842: I get questions about Microsoft, I get questions about Google Gmail. I get questions about software applications being installed and not working. Get questions about upgrading from versions of windows. Questions about Mac product and applications and how to connect printers and make those work wirelessly as well as with USB and updating drivers for Windows and Mac as well. And pretty much any kind of technology questions I can handle. I've had electronic shops. I've been a Dell certified system engineer and a Microsoft reseller and quite a few other things in the industry.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
MichaelB842: I just had a customer who was having an issue with Adobe elements and she was trying to install an older version of Adobe elements on her computer Windows 11. And she was trying to use an activation key that was no longer be able to be activated through the Adobe servers. So we went to the Adobe website and signed in with her deceased husband's email account and password and we were able to get Adobe elements downloaded because she was trying to get a print for a customer that she was gonna send a photo of to the printer and have it duplicated for a particular customer. And I felt very rewarded with that. We found the one malware detection on her computer and we're able to claim that and get the photo resized to the size she needed. And she was very happy and said that she would send me cookies and I said I get enough cookies on my computer.
