Why do you love helping customers on JustAnswer?

DustinJ1119: Why do I love helping customers on JustAnswer? When I joined JustAnswer, one of the things that I really wanted to do was help other people. I've dedicated my life towards public service in my legal career. It's always been important to me and a passion of mine. Well, with this being said, helping customers on JustAnswer, really gives me a sense of community giving back to the public. I really enjoy being able to provide legal information to those who may not be able to afford it.

What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?

DustinJ1119: I get all sort of different types of questions on JustAnswer. Some of the most common I see are employment and criminal law, which makes sense because over my career, I've spent most of my time in those categories of law. I get a lot of employment cases where a lot of people ask if they have a wrongful termination suit because many don't realize in 49 of the 50 US states you can be fired with or without cause or prior notice. And that's really shocking to a lot of people. I also get action questions. So some great questions come in regarding what to do on, for example, warranties when companies won't honor them, what to do on financial schemes. If someone donated money somewhere or spent money on something and couldn't get a return, I get a lot of those questions as well.

What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?

DustinJ1119: So my most memorable or heartwarming story with the customer, I had someone in a relationship and without giving too much away, they were sharing this vehicle, their partner took this vehicle, ended up in vehicle accidents, all kinds of things and they weren't sharing insurance or things at the time, but police were contacting the customer contacting me because this vehicle is getting reported all over town, creating all these accidents and havoc. So this customer and I spoke back and forth for it probably was about 7 to 10 days in a row. Kind of step by step through this process of trying to not only recover that vehicle, work with law enforcement because this individual ended up being somewhat on the run. And I just remember how stressed they were, how stressed I was and we, we solved it.
