Speaker: DoctorRaza
Why do you love helping customers on JustAnswer?
DoctorRaza: Hello, I'm Doctor Raza. I'm an internal medicine specialist and medical oncologist. I've been working in internal medicine for the last 10 years and medical oncology for the last four years. I have a passion to relieve suffering of the patients suffering from cancer because these are the patients who have very dismal outlook. Unfortunately, I've been trained to do that and I found JustAnswer extremely useful for helping all the patients who are suffering from cancer or any other related medical conditions.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
DoctorRaza: On JustAnswer's Health platform customers are looking for the solutions to their health concerns. In my practice, I usually find people looking for the answers of mild fever, what could be the cause of it? And then they have some concerns related to abdominal pains and maybe some infections like respiratory tract infections, sore throat or urinary tract infections. And I found many customers who had been recently diagnosed with cancers and they are looking for a comprehensive management plan for their cancer as a second opinion.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
DoctorRaza: Although I have had a lot of customers on JustAnswer. But the most memorable experience is with one of the young ladies who had chronic abdominal symptoms, including diarrhea, constipation and, and some bloating. And she was just 26 or 27 years of age and she was really concerned for having some intestinal or colon cancer. And when I inquired in detail, she never had any red flags. She was not having any family history of such diseases. Moreover, her symptoms were never suggestive of any cancer. And she had been advised some testing including the camera test like colonoscopies. They are a bit uncomfortable procedures and obviously they do have a cost impact as well. So, as per my experience and knowledge, I recommended not to go for that and we can just monitor it and manage it as an irritable bowel syndrome. So, she followed up with me on JustAnswer and she is still in follow up and she's doing well with all the conservative treatments and methods that I recommended her.
