Why do you love helping customers on JustAnswer?
BrintA0525: I love helping my customers fix and repair appliances. I've got more than 25 years experience in appliance repair and more than 20 years experience in small engine repair. And I get a lot of joy out of helping a customer save money and to hear their voice light up whenever they repaired something themselves and they didn't have to pay somebody a large amount of money to come to their home and fix it. It truly makes me happy.
What types of questions do you get on JustAnswer?
BrintA0525: I get all types of calls on JustAnswer. I do the appliance industry so I have lots of calls on washing machines, dryers, garage door openers, refrigerators, wine coolers. I also do small engine repair. So I get a lot of calls on generators, lawn mowers, motorcycles, go karts, you know, things of that sort, small engines.
What’s your most memorable or heartwarming story with a customer?
BrintA0525: My favorite call I ever got was a 96 year old woman who could not find the air filter grates for her cooktop. And she knew they were replaceable, but she didn't know how to find them or how to order them and was not completely savvy with the internet. I was able to look up the part for her, find it at the best price. I copied the link posted it in our chat and she was able to click on the link directly to the pay page of where she could purchase these filters and pay with her card. And then it was sent to her and she was so happy that she could get it done. She'd been trying to do it for years and she said that they were just terribly filled with grease and she needed them replaced. And the joy in that woman's heart when she told me she loved me because I had gotten that done for her and she was having such a hard time since she had become a widow. It melted my heart.
