Speaker: Izze Stein
What was your biggest challenge before working with me, and how was it affecting your career?
Izze Stein: with Janel was just getting organized and finding balance. As a creative, there's just so many things that you have to worry about to build your career and also to feel like you're calm and grounded in your life, and it was affecting my career because I just felt like I was all over the place and I wasn't really finding time to establish my values and to act on those values. I just felt like I was running nonstop without any sense of, OK. I, I was running nonstop without any priorities, without any sense of prioritizing what I should do, how I should spend my time,
What specific results or changes have you experienced since working together?
Izze Stein: I feel so much more balanced in my life as a creative. I think about all the different categories of wellness, of work, career, family, home, health, and I know that I need to consider all of them in order to have a truly fulfilling life as a creative. It's not just about working all the time and at the same time, I also feel that working with Janel I was able to more effectively set short term goals that wouldn't overwhelm me and would allow me to see the progress that I was making along the way rather than just, oh, I didn't hit 100 right away.
Why would you recommend me to someone who’s in the same position you were before
Izze Stein: I think even though a lot of creatives don't like to admit it, we need help and we need people to confide in and to bounce ideas off of so that we can get to the next place. We cannot do it all on our own. And working with Janel is just, she's such a positive reinforcement and also a great listener, and she has great wisdom. She's figured a lot of things out herself and shares that wisdom with all the people that she works with and I think it's just, I really feel that she is just a helper, to put it plainly, and uh every creative really needs a helper.
