Speaker: Jordan Ohel

What was your experience with Ayman as a sales manager?

Jordan Ohel: So when I first came, when came in my position where Iman was a sales manager, I felt like, uh it was my first kind of non entry level sales position. It was a step up. I had the experience to be there because I did some uh you know, I sell before, but it was my first enterprise sales position. And where I really was, stood out to me as a sales manager was his emphasis on personal professional development. Uh There was absolutely no sales manager in my career up to this point, you know, where I felt like I developed more um just the continuing of just getting better in the process learning. Hey, uh just constant evaluation. Hey, you might have said this wrong or, you know, you didn't come off what you want to hear. Uh something that I know I experienced with Iman and actually I'm a lot better at now because of Iman specifically, uh not sounding so green when I'm doing my cold calls because at the time I was new and, you know, I always try to be their best friend sometimes, but I really brought to me a, hey, you're a professional, you're here and just the personal and self development and professional development under Ayman is second to none. Uh, even, uh, personal, just talking about my goals. What do I wanna do? Where do I wanna live? And how does professionally, how does that relate to that? And that's, you know, Iman's emphasis on that, I think is something that really stood out to me. Um, I'm in, as a sales manager cannot, you know, the numbers speak to him for himself. Uh You know, I could talk about sales and his successes, but I is so good at what he does to be honest. So I think just from my standpoint watching him work, I just try to pick up little tidbits in my head and try to implement it into my style as he kind of suggested I do as well. So, um yeah, and, you know, as a sales manager, I don't think you could ask for anything more. Possibly. He is phenomenal.

What did Ayman do to help you become a better salesperson?

Jordan Ohel: Easily the number one thing, I mean, did help me become a better salesperson is that constant evaluation. Um I almost compare it to my days in sports, you know, and, and it's actually something that I continue to do as well. Um If I have a meeting and obviously, you know, getting all the permissions to record it, so we refer back and all that. But, you know, if you have a meeting and we have a recording of that meeting or a call or whatever, um just going back and critiquing yourself. Um I in completely inspired me, I remember and I could tell you this, there's times that like, like 10 o'clock at night because I'm in really brought the most out of me. I want to succeed so bad just because, you know, first of all, for myself and that came into like that personal professional development, how bad I want to succeed. But like I said, just with my schedule, sometimes 9, 10 o'clock at night, I'm watching film. It's like, it's like sports back when I used to play baseball. Um You know, and just learning, like, why did I say this here or what is the buyer truly looking for or did I not make a point? Am I not in line with the buyer's needs? Um What's the buyer's personality? How do I build rapport? How do I do this, you know, and just kind of based on the individual call, how do I speak the buyer's language? You know, if I'm speaking different positions. So just really the, the, the every time I did a sales call, demo, whatever proposal review, something along those lines, just the critiquing the constant you could have done this better, you could have done that better. Um And, and it's all positive I can share of criticism as well. So that's something that I feel like I really got better at.

What else would you like to share?

Jordan Ohel: Uh on a personal level. Uh I'm in, in terms of just the amount of passion, the amount of care he has for his coworkers colleagues, whoever in the company that, that anyone that's around him, to be honest, um He just wants to see people succeed. And that's clear as day. Um You know, there's some people that sometimes say they want to see people succeed is that the case, maybe, maybe not, don't 100% know, but with I'm in clears day. Um I just think with him, it's like he brings more out of you, you know, I guess from my position, you know, if I'm gonna be my sales manager, he brings so much out of me that, you know, it's like that I didn't even know I could do. And I'll tell you right now to be blunt, I am so much better as a salesperson and Iman is 100% of the person that put me on that path. Um And that just, and he want to see me succeed and, you know, that brings out like almost that team type of atmosphere, like I want to see Ironman do so well. And, you know, I want to see the rest of the team do well and just, he really brings out a positive culture just based on who he is honestly.
