Gunner Murray: Hi, I'm eight years old. Today. We're going to be talking about my teacher. Um, Miss Joy, she's the best teacher I've ever met when I was younger. I remember I wasn't really able to read all the schools that my mom put me in. Just made me feel like I was alone. The first, the school I was learning about the school. I wasn't, made me feel like I wasn't really smart. They said almost everything I thought I was doing right, wrong. But when I miss, when I met, Miss Joy, she, she made me feel like I was smart and it was in a few weeks I was starting to read what I'm saying is she's the best teacher I've ever met.
Gunner Murray: When I met, Miss Joy, I didn't notice, but it would be the best day of my life. I didn't think reading me fun at first because I lost all my confidence a long time ago. But when I met Miss Joy, she helped me regain my confidence. I started reading. I had more faith in reading, reading and now I don't give up until I get something. Right.
What reading strategy is most helpful to you as a reader?
Gunner Murray: My favorite thing that Miss Joy taught me was the H brothers. The one that I really was able to memorize was a s and H was, when I thought I could remember really easily and it's helped me a lot.
