What is your name and where do you live?
Joy Chang: I'm Joy Chang and I live in Short Hills, New Jersey.
How did earning the Growing Elite trip impact your business long-term?
Joy Chang: I think that going on this Growing Elite trip helped me see where we, as J.Hilburn stylists are in the bigger picture. I mean, we work so independently that you tend to forget. What it is that we do. I mean what we do, how it impacts you know, not just J.Hilburn corporate, but the factories, the fabric mills, our parent company, TAL. Like one night we got to have dinner with Roger Lee, the CEO of TAL, and his wife. I mean, it was a really nice intimate dinner. And then the last night we went to the TAL awards dinner and we were seated literally at the head table. And, you know, I always think of us, we're just this one little sliver of TAL, the large company of TAL, but this made me realize just how important we, the J.Hilburn stylists, are to TAL, this enormous company TAL. You know, you see that they are, they, TAL, they're really invested in us, J.Hilburn. And they want us to succeed. They want us to do well. And you can tell that they are in it for the long haul. And that was really nice and amazing to see.
