Joy Chang: I'm Joy Chang and I live in Short Hills, New Jersey.
What would you say to a Stylist who is on the fence about pushing for the next Growing Elite: Vietnam and Hong Kong Trip?
Joy Chang: To the stylists who are on the fence about, you know, pushing for this Growing Elite trip, I would, I mean, I get it. I was in the same exact place you were last year. I was on track to earn the trip through the recruiting and mentoring path. But then I discovered two days before the end of the qualification period that I needed a lot more sales and personal volume. Which I didn't realize. And I had 2 days left to sell, and the amount that I needed was equivalent to like what I normally sell in 1 month, and I had 2 days left. And at that point, I pretty much almost was ready to give up and say, all right, well, forget it. I guess I'm not gonna earn it. But then I kind of smacked myself and I was like, am I kidding myself? Let me try. And so I pushed myself. I, luckily I was able to sell what I needed to sell and I earned the trip. And I'm so glad I did because I think you don't realize what you are missing. If you've never experienced this trip, you just don't even realize what you're going to miss. But thank goodness I did earn the trip because it is a once in a lifetime trip that I mean, it's just amazing to to go on. And so I feel like push yourself. Do it. You won't regret it. And, you know, really, no regrets. Go for it.
