What is your name and where do you live?
Joy Chang: I'm Joy Chang and I live in Short Hills, New Jersey.
What surprised you most about the Growing Elite trip, and why?
Joy Chang: Going on this trip made me realize, just how much J.Hilburn values us as stylists because, I mean, everything about this trip was 5-star. It was top notch. I mean, I knew it was going to be a great trip, but I just didn't expect how amazing it was going to be. And it just made us as stylists feel so special. And I think I was just surprised by the level of everything. All the thought and planning that went into making this trip so special for us who earned it. I mean, clearly, you could tell it was not a cheap trip. I mean, even the hotel room, the hotel that we stayed at in Hong Kong was this gorgeous hotel that was views of the water, Victoria Harbor. It was just beautiful and we got to stay in this hotel, all of us stylists. And then meanwhile, Stein Ove and the rest of the Senior Leadership Team had to stay at a lesser hotel. They didn't even stay at the same hotel as us. We got the better hotel. I mean, it just showed how much they thought of us as stylists. And everything was 5-star. It was amazing and it made us feel really, really special.
