What is your name and where do you live?
Jessica Richau: My name is Jessica Richau and I live in northern Minnesota in the beautiful lakes area.
What was the most memorable moment of the trip, and how did it impact your perspective on J.Hilburn?
Jessica Richau: Without question, the most memorable moment of the trip for me happened immediately after we handed out lunch. That day we bought and passed out lunch to all of the factory employees. And I expected that to be a very touching moment, and it was. But what was even more so than that happened immediately after that. We all expected that they would take their lunch and find a place on the beautiful grounds to enjoy it, but they actually stayed, and they wanted to interact with us and take their picture with us. And I think that, I know that what they do is really, really impactful in our business. That the things that they craft every day, is what makes our business go too. But I don't think that I expected that same in return from them. They, I kind of joke, they made us feel like celebrities. And I think that we thought they were the celebrities. So it was a really, really beautiful moment, totally unexpected, and I just really appreciated that quality time and that, you know, that relationship building moment. At the end of the day, what we do is a relationship building business. And I didn't expect such a beautiful relationship from our manufacturing partners.
