Speaker: Sara Dixson, Pediatric Physical Therapist
Sara Dixson: Hi, I'm Sarah. I am joining from Virginia Beach, Virginia and I am starting the pediatric physical therapy residency program.
Where did you go to school, and how long have you been with Ivy? We'd love to hear what initially brought you to join the Ivy team!
Sara Dixson: I got my undergraduate degree in Biology at Winthrop University in South Carolina. And I got my doctorate of physical therapy from Creighton University in Nebraska. I have been with Ivy for a little over a year. And originally, the continuing education opportunities that Ivy provides was what brought me towards joining the team.
What are you most excited about as you begin this residency program? What do you hope to accomplish during your time here?
Sara Dixson: I'm excited to just expand my knowledge in physical therapy and the pediatric realm by joining the residency program and to be able to just give my patients the best possible experience and the best treatment possible based on research. And in the future, I hope to participate in some of the research and write more research articles um that can be published and can help continue the path forward for the physical therapy community.
