Speaker: Madison Kulik, Physical Therapist

Madison Kulik: Hi, my name is Madison Kulick. Hi, my name is Madison Kulick. I'm from, Plymouth, Michigan area, so nearby Ann Arbor and Detroit and I am starting the pediatric physical therapy residency.

Where did you go to school, and how long have you been with Ivy? We'd love to hear what initially brought you to join the Ivy team!

Madison Kulik: So I went to school for physical therapy at Central Michigan University and I have been out of school for about a year and a half and with Ivy Rehab for kids for about a year now. And what initially brought me over to Ivy was the mentorship program because I knew out of school that I need maybe a little bit of extra help due to my confidence. And I'm hoping too that the residency will help a lot with that as well.

What are you most excited about as you begin this residency program? What do you hope to accomplish during your time here?

Madison Kulik: I'm most excited about getting to meet everyone else that's in the residency program. Not just the physical therapy, part of pediatrics, but also OT and speech because I know we work a lot together and it's just exciting to be able to meet new people, bounce ideas off and learn a lot more. I hope to accomplish, kind of reduce some of the gaps in my knowledge. Coming out of central, we, in most schools we have more of a generalized education. So I'm hoping that I'll be able to learn more about the pediatric program, get some more knowledge in those areas. So I can better help the kids that I work with.
