Speaker: Madison Ferguson, Physical Therapist
Madison Ferguson: Hi, I'm Maddie and I'm from the West Michigan region and I will be starting the sports residency program in January.
Where did you go to school, and how long have you been with Ivy? We'd love to hear what initially brought you to join the Ivy team!
Madison Ferguson: I studied athletic training and exercise science at Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois for my undergrad. And then I came back to Michigan for PT school at Grand Valley State University. I started working for Ivy as a patient coordinator throughout PT school and then transitioned to the role of a PT once I was done with school.
What are you most excited about as you begin this residency program? What do you hope to accomplish during your time here?
Madison Ferguson: I'm most looking forward to the mentorship and the growth that's gonna take place over the next year. And my goals for the residency are really to gain as much knowledge as I possibly can. Build my confidence as a clinician so that I can better serve the specialized population of athletes of all ages.
