Ellen Fretz: Hi, my name is Ellen. I'm receiving physical therapy here at the Ivy Rehab in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Doctor Matt Musket is a physical therapist. I am coming to see Doctor Musket because I have low back pain. My pain level was 10 out of 10, and within the first treatment of receiving shock wave therapy and laser therapy, the pain was relieved. For flexion, bed mobility, and lower body dressing, pain-free, thanks to Doctor Musket.
What brought you to therapy?
Ellen Fretz: The reason I am receiving physical therapy from Doctor Matt Musket is because of low back pain. I had spasming that caused great difficulty with forward flexion, bending, lower body dressing, bed mobility, and that is the reason I'm receiving physical therapy at this time.
What can you do now that you couldn't do before therapy at Ivy?
Ellen Fretz: Activities that I can do now that I wasn't able to do prior to receiving physical therapy, mainly is gardening. I'm unable to do hobbies and because of the modalities that Doctor Musket, incorporated in my treatment plan, I'm now able to do the gardening and of course, basically bending, lifting, twisting or pain-free.
What was your favorite thing about your therapy session?
Ellen Fretz: Probably my most favorite thing about coming to Ivy Rehab is Doctor Musket himself, his techniques, his personality, and the environment is conducive to, progressing the patient through rehab, and scheduling was also easy as well.
Why did you choose Ivy Rehab?
Ellen Fretz: The reason I chose to come here to Ivy Rehab is primarily because of Dr. Musket himself. He has an excellent reputation, and Ivy Rehab in Wyomissing is very close to my home. So for those two reasons and the modalities that they offer are the reasons that I chose to come to Ivy Rehab.
