Speaker: Amanda Blum, Physical Therapist
Amanda Blum: Hi, my name is Amanda Blum and I'm from Warminster, Pennsylvania. I'm currently working out of the Princeton, New Jersey location at Ivy Rehab for kids. New Jersey location at Ivy Rehab for kids. And I'll be starting the pediatric physical therapy residency program.
Where did you go to school, and how long have you been with Ivy? We'd love to hear what initially brought you to join the Ivy team!
Amanda Blum: I went to school for my undergraduate and graduate programs both at Quinnipiac University. Where I received my doctorate of physical therapy. And I've been with Ivy for approximately one year, just a little over one year now, which I'm so excited to have spent this time here so far.
What are you most excited about as you begin this residency program? What do you hope to accomplish during your time here?
Amanda Blum: I'm most excited to get to know the other clinicians working in the residency program, in pediatrics. I absolutely love this interdisciplinary care, and I'm very excited. I hope that I can improve in my manual skills, evidence based practice. And even understanding just how to help these families and kids to the best of my ability going forward and how I can support other clinicians in the future to do the same thing.
