After many years of involvement in ISPAD, what keeps you motivated to remain active in the Society?
Hi, I'm Carine De Beaufort from Luxembourg. And when I started to work in pediatric diabetes, last century, I wanted to share my research experience and clinical experience, learn from other people. That's why I joined ISPAD. And to be honest, more than 40 years later, I still enjoy in exchanging experience, research and moving the field of pediatric diabetes forward. It is great to have so many colleagues from all generations who work together in order to improve care, find ways to intervene in the process and learn together about pediatric diabetes. So that's for me, a reason to keep being active and enjoying being a member of ISPAD.
