Angela Usé: I'm honored to have the privilege of working alongside such amazing people here at Isaac Health as we come together to give the best care possible to those affected with dementia and their caregivers. My personal journey with dementia began around 13 years ago when my mother was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's at just 61. It was very difficult to accept that my beautiful, caring, brilliant, amazing mother was about to endure such a hard battle. Ultimately, my husband and I did decide to move home, and I became her 24/7 in-home caregiver until she passed away in late 2023. After my own caregiving journey ended, I knew I needed to continue my work with people with dementia in any capacity, and that's how I found my job here with Isaac Health as a health outreach associate. Having access to the care that Isaac Health provides would have been life-changing for myself and my mother during those difficult years as the disease progresses and new symptoms arise pretty much every week. I'm beyond proud to be a part of this wonderful work everyone is doing here at Isaac Health, and I'm excited to be able to change lives for the better through my contributions in an outreach capacity.
