Speaker: Bill Grover

What has been your experience with Isaac Health’s care team?

Bill Grover: Hi, I'm Bill Grover. And I'm sharing my experience with the people at Isaac Health. The first of them is Tamara who handled all incoming calls and appointments and scheduling. I always look forward to talking to her while we were doing the work and it was always a gift.

Bill Grover: And then I was directed to Dr MD Richard Orlan and Richard Orlan was also a bio pharmacologist.

Bill Grover: I assume doctorate in pharmacy work. How that was useful to me was in organizing, taking my medications, which ones to take alone, which ones to take the food, which ones I could take with other medications. He was excellent in that. I'm completely grateful for Dr. Orlan The other person that I spent most of the time with is Stephanie. And every session we had felt like a party. We were always dealing with my concerns from my memory and what she had scheduled to teach me week by week.

Bill Grover: I cannot say enough about Stephanie as a gift in working with my memory questions.

How has Isaac Health empowered you to take control of the health of your brain?

Bill Grover: I've mentioned already that Doctor Orlan was exceptional in working through when to take my medications. We always had a good time. I always knew I was dealing with a pro and it meant a great deal to me to not wonder, am I taking this medication at the right time or should I have taken it with something else or with food? The people at Isaac Health turned out to be great partners for me.

Bill Grover: And then talking about Stephanie, the woman who is trained with memory issues. Each week she had another understanding for me about memory and another technique for me to use during the week.

Bill Grover: The process worked so well that over the weeks that we talked, I noticed I stopped having concerns about my memory as I aged because I could see that it was working. You know, she'd give me something to work on this week and I'd see I did okay.

What advice would you give to someone who is concerned about changes in memory and thinking?

Bill Grover: I think if I were talking to a friend who was asking me about issues like I had when I started weeks ago with Isaac Health, I would say, tell the, the Docs, tell Stephanie, tell Richard Orlan, tell everybody you talk to as much as you can about what you want to get or what your anxiety is. That's what empowers Isaac Health to be great partners for you or for me.

Bill Grover: Each week we had an assignment

Bill Grover: of go out and use your memory in these particular ways. I, at age 82, am still active out in Naples and have a long list of things to do in a week. And then there are three people, three people I'm caretaker for. So I have to think about what I have to buy for them and going to them and then mixing all of my errands in with that. So each week I had my daily routine as kind of the workshop space to work on what Stephanie said to do. It worked well for me.
