Jessica G: Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm I'm saving for our four year old daughter's college education with the Virginia 529 plan. As you can tell behind me, my daughter has a lot of dreams. This is her dress up rack and some days she wants to be an astronaut and other days she wants to be a cowgirl and some days she wants to be a doctor or an explorer. And other days she just wants to be a tiger.
Jessica G: wants to be Daniel Tiger. We opened two Virginia 529 accounts for our daughter a few months after she was born. My husband and I each have an account and we contribute a small amount each month to the accounts. We have been really surprised and really pleased with how much our accounts have grown even in just four years. And it's been great that our friends and family and can donate to the account too. Right now, I think my daughter most wants to be a fairy this morning. She wanted to be the Easter bunny, but I know that her Virginia 529 plan will be there for her, whatever she wants to do.
