Speaker: Alejandro Fuentes, Documented Moments

Alejandro Fuentes: And so, um, I am now at a place where I am still dealing with those emotions, but realizing that there is value in what I have and what I bring to the table, and I am worthy of being paid uh for the things that I do,

Could you describe where you started with Intersectional Entrepreneur and how it helped you to get to where you are now?

Alejandro Fuentes: Um, at the beginning of, uh, the program of intersectional entrepreneur, I was definitely coming in from a place where I didn't realize how much my, uh, Was or thoughts about money affected how I interacted with the potential of making money. And so, um, I am now at a place where I am still dealing with those emotions, but realizing that there is value in what I have and what I bring to the table, and I am worthy of being paid uh for the things that I do, um, and, uh, yeah, I'm just taking the steps by getting in touch with the right people in order to make sure that this becomes a viable option for me in the future.

How would you describe Intersectional Entrepreneur in three words?

Alejandro Fuentes: Uh, if I had to describe the program in 3 words, it would be, um, community, uh. Movement towards action, which is 3 words, ah, and. Uh, A place to challenge yourself.

Why is Intersectional Entrepreneur different from other similar products or services? What are you grateful for?

Alejandro Fuentes: I think what makes intersectional entrepreneur different is the guidance of uh Tara. Um, I think her expertise as uh a mental health uh therapist in addition to um the fact that she is a business starter herself, uh, gives her all the necessary sort of like. Things that you need in order to know that she knows exactly what you're talking about and that she could also commiserate alongside you, um, and help you, therefore, find a way towards establishing yourself, uh, establishing and getting over the things that are tripping you up so that you can be an entrepreneur yourself, um. And yeah, I, I think. If I were to narrow it down to one thing, it would be the individual who's leading it, um, other than that though. Um, I'm really grateful for the way that we were able to establish community within the space, uh, for being able to get a hold of so many resources in order to identify the exact next steps that we needed in order to uh potentially start our own business and our own services and give that out to community, um, because I Uh, was somebody who sort of like was unsure whether or not it would, I could offer something that was of value and uh being in this group sort of helped me identify that not only did I, but that I should, so.
