Speaker: Jorden M. Korte, PATRIZIA SE

1. What projects does your committee work on?

Jorden M. Korte: As a committee, we are supporting INREV in delivering a diverse and engaging programme for our peers throughout the year And as such, one of the larger things we are involved in is the annual Young Professionals Conference where we propose themes and speakers and really help INREV to shape the overall conference and make this a success. Smaller things we are involved in are the annual property tours where we propose interesting assets we should be visiting and the annual networking drinks towards the end of the year. We also have regular brainstorming sessions where we discuss potential, new additions to the INREV young professionals offering and also feedback that we got and how we can put that into practice by improving the current offering.

2. What is coming up next year?

Jorden M. Korte: Two big items for next year are already set, one of which is the annual Young Professionals Conference, which we will again support with ideas for themes and speakers. And the second thing are the annual property tours where we will suggest interesting assets to visit. We are constantly brainstorming about new ideas and we have a few things shortlisted, which we will potentially work on further and which might make it into the new INREV Young Professionals offering.

3. What involvement (time and effort) is required to be on your committee?

Jorden M. Korte: As a committee, we usually meet once a quarter and one or two of those meetings are in person. From our committee members we expect active participation in those meetings. Furthermore, we expect our members to have the ability to put themselves into the shoes of their peers and be passionate about improving the INREV Young Professionals offering. For those of you that want to do even more, there are plenty of opportunities throughout the year to support, for example, the property tours or be on a dedicated group for the INREV Young Professionals Conference.
