1. What projects does your committee work on?
Alex Tilson: This year The committee has been working to update the INREV Due Diligence Questionnaires for debt vehicles and multi managers to reflect the recent changes to the main INREV DDQ with an increased focus on topics such as ESG, anti-money laundering, and physical and cyber security. We will also be updating INREV's data room guidelines as well as continuing to promote the use of INREV's due diligence resources and documentation.
2. What is coming up next year?
Alex Tilson: Next year, we expect to spend time working on ways to enhance the industry's approach to operational due diligence. And we would also like to continue to enrich DDQ appendices with topical content, ensuring that they remain relevant to today's changing and increasingly complex environment.
3. What involvement (time and effort) is required to be on your committee?
Alex Tilson: Our committee meets several times a year, both online and in person to discuss the projects that we are working on with the INREV team. Sometimes we also split into smaller groups with particular members of the committee responsible for undertaking specific project work, before reporting back to the wider group. At all times, we aim to promote the work of the committee and INREV due diligence resources.
